What can you upload?
| Type | What it is good for | What the system does with it |
|---|---|---|
| PDF, Word, text file | Service description, price list, case study, technical material. | Extracts the text, classifies it, and uses it as factual grounding. |
| Pasted text | A quick note, part of an email, something a client told you. | Handled exactly like a document — no need to make a file. |
| Image | Product photo, diagram, screenshot, a slide. | Reads the text in the image and uses its content as context. |
| Video | Webinar, talk, demo, a client interview. | Produces a transcript, and the transcript becomes usable grounding. |
| Website | Your own site or one of its pages. | Reads its text content. |

How to upload
Open the Source material page
It is in the left-hand menu. The upload area is at the top: drag files in, or browse.
Confirm you have the right to upload
Before uploading you must confirm that you are entitled to. This is not a formality: uploading someone else's material carries legal responsibility.
Wait for processing
Processing runs in the background after upload. Larger videos and documents take longer; the state shows in the upload tray.
Review the classification
The system proposes a category and sometimes asks questions. You can accept or adjust — see Managing source material.
What counts as good source material?
- Specific and factual — pricing logic, process descriptions, measurable results. This is what lets an article say something concrete.
- Current — a description of an offer that expired two years ago misleads the system.
- Yours — your material, in your words. A generic industry report gives less than your own case study.
- Complete — the whole document rather than a half-page extract, where you have the right to it.
What happens if the file is larger than allowed?
The upload does not start and the system reports the limit. For a large video it is worth uploading a shorter section or a more compressed format.
What if storage is full?
Uploads stop and you get a warning. Archive or delete material you no longer need, or move to a larger plan.
Does my material get copied into the published article word for word?
No — the system uses it as factual grounding, not as a block of text to paste in. If you want a literal quote, you write it and check it.
Is what I upload checked?
Uploaded material goes through security and content checks, and blocked material is not used. Responsibility for the right to upload remains yours.
