How AI credits work

What costs credits and what does not, the price of each operation, the monthly allowance, and how to plan consumption.

Short answer

An AI credit is Pagioo's internal unit of account: every AI operation costs a fixed number. A text operation (an article or a post) is 1 credit, an AI image 5 credits, producing a content plan 10 credits. Your plan grants a monthly allowance — Free 60, Starter 600, Growth 3,000, Scale 10,000 — and if it runs out you can top up. Manual editing, scheduling and publishing cost nothing.

What costs credits?

The credit cost of each operation, taken from Pagioo's plan configuration.

What does NOT cost credits?

  • Manual editing — you can rewrite as much as you like yourself.
  • Scheduling and publishing — delivery is not an AI operation.
  • Approving, commenting, restoring a version.
  • Uploading and organising material — only AI processing costs credits.
  • Failed operations — what was not produced is not charged.
  • Reading the knowledge base and using the interface.

The monthly allowance

The Billing page. Under the title a help link pointing at the knowledge base, then the current plan's card: the plan's name, that it is active, and the AI credits used this month out of the monthly allowance, with a progress bar and the remainder spelled out. Below it the “Choose a plan” block with a switch between monthly and annual payment (annual marked “Discounted”), then four plan cards — Free, Starter, Growth, Scale — with the price, a switch button and what the plan contains: monthly AI credits, articles per run, number of brands.
The Billing page keeps the current plan, this month's credit use and the comparison of all four plans in one place. The screenshots show the Hungarian interface; the app's language is a setting, and it can be switched to English.
The plans' measurable limits. The source is Pagioo's own plan configuration, so these values cannot differ from the ones in the plans.

How to plan consumption

  1. Decide how much content you need per month

Not what you would like, but what you can actually review and get out.

  2. Decide which pieces need an image

The image is the most expensive operation. If you have your own photo it costs no credits and is more credible.

  3. Count the plans too

Every run's content plan is 10 credits. Fewer, larger runs are more economical than many small ones.

  4. Keep a reserve

For rewrites, a regeneration or two, and an unexpected campaign. A balance exhausted mid-month also stops Autopilot.

Does unused monthly allowance carry over?

A plan's monthly allowance belongs to that month. Separately purchased top-up credits are valid for 90 days.

Do I get credits back if I do not like the article?

A produced piece has used its credits. That is why it is worth rewriting the problem passage (1 credit) rather than regenerating the whole article.

Does each brand have its own credits?

No, credits are shared at the account (organisation) level. With several brands it is worth reviewing consumption monthly.

Where do I see my balance?

On the Billing page, and the interface also states the estimated cost before larger operations.
