Calendar and publishing

Scheduling in the calendar, publishing to your site and social channels, and tracking what went out.

Short answer

The calendar shows everything in one place — drafts, items awaiting approval, scheduled posts and published ones — in four views (month, week, list, board), filtered by channel and status. Approved content goes out from here to WordPress, to a custom API endpoint and to your connected social accounts. The Publishing page then shows every delivery attempt, with the reason it failed and a way to retry.

Frequently asked — Calendar and publishing

These questions are about the whole topic; the detail is in the articles.

Why is my calendar empty when content has been produced?

Because finished content is not scheduled automatically: it sits as a draft until you place it in the calendar. You will find it in the Studio's content list.

What is the usual cause of a failed publish?

Almost always the channel connection: an expired or revoked authorisation, a missing permission, or a format the platform rejected. Fix the connection first, then retry.

Do I lose the content if publishing fails?

No. The content and its version history stay in Pagioo; only the delivery did not happen. No credits are spent either — publishing is not an AI operation.

Does editing an article update the published copy?

Not automatically. An edit in Pagioo does not reach an already published article — you either publish again or change it in the target system.
